Terms And Conditions

By booking and attending lessons with Naz Driving School, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Lessons & Driving Tests

You must inform your instructor of anything that could affect your ability to drive safely or legally. This includes, but is not limited to, losing your valid driving licence or being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair your driving.

It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to drive. If you have any health concerns that may impact your driving, you should consult your doctor and notify the DVLA where required.

You must be able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres.

Your instructor may decline the use of their vehicle for a driving test if:

  • You have not provided sufficient notice of your test date and they are unavailable.
  • You have not rescheduled your test when advised to do so.
  • You have not reached the required test standard and are considered unsafe to drive independently.

Any such decision will be discussed with you in advance, along with suitable alternatives.

If you choose to take lessons in your own vehicle, you must ensure it is fully roadworthy, taxed, insured, and has a valid MOT certificate. You are also responsible for confirming that your insurance policy allows an instructor to supervise you and covers use for a driving test if applicable.

Cancellations & Punctuality

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Late cancellations will be charged in full.
  • If you fail to attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without contact, the lesson will be treated as a no-show and charged.
  • If you arrive late, the lesson will still end at the agreed time and the full fee will apply.
  • If your instructor is delayed, your full lesson time will be honoured.
  • Lessons may be rescheduled by your instructor due to unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle issues, weather conditions, or traffic delays.
  • Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may result in the immediate termination of the lesson and refusal of future bookings.

Payments & Refund Policy

  • Lesson prices and block booking rates are confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash.
  • All lessons must be paid for in advance.
  • Block bookings must be paid in full before the first session.
  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.
  • Unused hours from block bookings may be refunded at the original hourly rate.

Accidents & Legal Responsibility

While every effort is made to maintain safety during lessons, if damage occurs due to failure to follow instructions or unsafe driving (e.g., tyre or clutch damage), you may be asked to contribute towards repair costs.

Instructors may intervene verbally or physically when necessary to maintain safety. However, any legal responsibility, including fines or penalty points, remains with the learner as the driver. Instructors are legally required to provide driver details to authorities if requested.

All instructors at Naz Driving School are fully insured with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity cover.
